Your new Role:
This position is required to work afternoons across 7 days per week on a rotational roster including public holidays.
You will provide high-quality administrative and front-of-house support across inpatient units at Redland Hospital, ensuring accurate patient data, smooth admissions, discharges and transfers, and effective communication with clinical teams. Working a dedicated afternoon roster, you'll manage telephony systems, maintain patient records, coordinate workflows, and support safe, efficient service delivery during peak evening periods. Reporting to the Manager of Patient Administration Services, this role is key to maintaining seamless hospital operations after hours.
About You:
You are a dependable and customer-focused administrator who excels in a fast-paced afternoon/evening hospital environment and supports patients, visitors and clinical teams with professionalism. You will have:
- Experience in administration within a busy service environment
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work afternoon and evening shifts reliably
- Experience with hospital systems (e.g. HBCIS, ieMR) desirable
