Your opportunity
The role of the Recreation Officer is to design, implement and evaluate a variety of recreational, diversional and social activities to improve or maintain the physical and mental function of the residents.
The very nature of what we do and who we are is the real opportunity. Providing health care support in the bush is full of challenges, however, it remains the most rewarding of human experiences.
With a 13 bed Multipurpose Health Service and Medical Centre, the team at Dirranbandi are passionate about their town and their community. There is a real sense of belonging here. Nursing, Medical, Operational and Administration staff all work together to make sure the community has a service it can be proud of and have faith in. Nursing in the rural clinical setting sees nurses expand their knowledge and skills and be ready to deliver care to a wide range of acute, chronic and emergency presentations.
