What your day could look like
As a Clinical Nurse, you'll play a vital role in supporting women through their care journey while strengthening clinical practice across the service. From providing expert clinical judgement in complex situations to guiding quality and safety initiatives, you'll work alongside a multidisciplinary team to deliver care that truly matters.
Every day, you'll contribute by:
- Delivering advanced, compassionate clinical care that supports safe, timely and positive patient experiences
- Partnering with medical, nursing and allied health colleagues to coordinate care and navigate complex decisions
- Leading quality improvements that strengthen safety, consistency and clinical outcomes
- Mentoring and supporting colleagues, helping build confidence, capability and a strong team culture
Let's talk about you!
You're a confident and thoughtful clinician who brings both expertise and empathy to your work. You care deeply about the people you support and the colleagues you work alongside, and you take pride in making sound decisions when it matters most. You're motivated by improving care, leading by example, and knowing that your work contributes to healthier outcomes and a stronger community. You're not just delivering care- you're shaping experiences that reflect compassion, integrity and dignity.
Here's what will help you thrive in this role:
- Registration as a Registered Nurse with current authority to practise
- Demonstrated advanced clinical skills and sound judgement in complex care settings
- Strong communication and collaboration skills that build trust with patients and teams
- A proactive mindset focused on quality, safety and continuous improvement
You'll stand out from the crowd if you have experience in clinical leadership, mentoring others, and/or further professional or postgraduate development.
Most importantly, you'll bring compassion, courage, integrity, dignity and innovation to everything you do- creating care you're proud of and impact the community can feel.
