Northern Beaches State High School is seeking a proactive and safety-focused Manual Arts Teacher Aide to support the delivery of Industrial Technology and Design (ITD) programs.

In this role, you will assist in maintaining a secure, well-organised workshop environment, prepare timber and metal materials, and support students and staff during practical lessons while ensuring compliance with workplace health and safety standards.

This position is being offered in a Temporary Part-Time capacity (0.79FTE), 60 hours per fortnight.

Step Into Your Next Chapter:

  • Operate and maintain a range of workshop tools and equipment (e.g. saws, lathes, basic welding tools)
  • Monitor and ensure compliance with testing and tagging requirements
  • Manage stock levels, including ordering and inventory control
  • Receive and process deliveries
  • Assist the Head of Department with day-to-day workshop operations
