The Clinical Nurse Consultant Child and Family position represents a transformative opportunity to shape the future of child and family health across South West Hospital and Health Service. This newly established role, born from the visionary Putting Queensland Kids First Plan and funded through the First 2000 Days initiative, is designed to ensure that every child receives the right care, at the right time, in the right place.
As a Clinical Nurse Consultant Child and Family you will be at the forefront of delivering integrated, family-centred services that promote optimal health, wellbeing, and developmental outcomes for children. Guided by the newly launched Child and Family Health, Wellbeing and Development – Service Model of Child and Family Health and Child Development 2025, this role offers a unique chance to contribute to a unified, evidence-based approach that supports families from pregnancy through early childhood.
