About the role
Flexible full‑time opportunity to provide effective leadership in the planning, management and delivery of safe, high‑quality consumer/person‑centred care within Procedural Services at STARS. This role operates within a complex health service environment and collaborates closely with interprofessional teams and senior stakeholders to lead strategic initiatives, enhance service delivery, and support the development of a capable and high‑performing nursing workforce, ensuring optimal consumer and organisational outcomes.
About you
Our ideal candidate will be someone who can carry out the following key accountabilities in accordance with the Metro North Health's values:Fulfil the responsibilities of this role in accordance with Schedule 2, Nurses and Midwives (Queensland Health Award) (2015) - Generic Level Statements (GLS) Grade 11 and the Queensland Health and Metro North Health's commitments and values, in achievement of the organisational goals and Domains of Practice.
- Facilitate practice of self and others is in accordance with code of ethics, professional standards and legislation affecting nursing practice by maintaining current knowledge and competence within scope of position.
- Undertake, and participate in ethical decision making in the achievement of organisational goals.
- Provide representation for Procedural Services and undertake decision-making within an ethical framework perspective, while role modelling professional standards
