About the role:

Deliver expert, evidence-based clinical and consultancy services, using sharp problem-solving skills to create safer, smarter ways of working. At the forefront of best practice, you'll shape and refine policies, procedures, and protocols while ensuring services are innovative, effective, and aligned with state-wide priorities. You'll take the lead in designing and delivering engaging manual handling education programs, building capability across the workforce while mentoring staff and supporting the development of students and emerging professionals.

Your expertise will be highly valued as you provide specialist advice to leaders, managers, and stakeholders on injury prevention, return-to-work programs, and continuous service improvement. With a strong focus on quality and outcomes, you'll monitor standards, drive evidence-based improvements, and contribute to strategic direction in collaboration with Safety and Wellbeing leadership.

About you:

  • Mandatory possession of an Occupational Therapy or Physiotherapy qualification from a registered tertiary institution.
  • Registration with Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) with a current annual practicing certificate is essential.
  • While not mandatory, a postgraduate qualification in relevant field would be well regarded.
  • Ability to lead change through the initiation, implementation and evaluation of quality service improvement activities with the specific aim of preventing injury and enhancing staff health and wellness.

What we offer:

Total remuneration value of up to $157,359 p.a. is comprised of:

  • An hourly rate between $64.64 - $69.55 p.h.
  • 12.75% employer superannuation contribution
  • 17.5% leave loading
