As our Team Leader Revenue and Contracts, you will:
- manage the statewide revenue and contract administration function for DPI Forestry, through the supervision of a team responsible for the administration and financial governance of the sale of forest products and quarry materials.
- fulfil a key leadership role, by managing and developing the team's capabilities while building a culture of high performance, trust, collaboration and accountability.
- exhibit strong self-awareness, understanding your strengths, weaknesses and impact on others, while actively seeking feedback to drive personal and professional growth.
- undertake recruitment and labour hire procurement, prepare training and succession plans and foster an ability in the team to respond to emerging issues in a dynamic and complex operational environment against a backdrop of evolving policy settings.
- develop, review and co-ordinate the implementation of policies, procedures and other resources germane to the activities of the revenue and contracts administration function, consistent with best practice and departmental, government and legislative requirements.
- employ highly developed communication and liaison skills to support the cultivation and maintenance of key stakeholder relationships.
- possess an understanding of key systems utilised in the revenue and contracts administration function and continually seek out business improvement opportunities to better leverage such systems and other technology more generally (eg artificial intelligence, automation).
