  • Base salary range: $64.64 - $69.55 p.h. (HP4)
  • 4 to 6 weeks annual leave with 14%-17.5% loading
  • 12.75% employer contribution to superannuation
  • Plus great salary packaging options to increase take-home pay
  • Flexible working arrangements may be available

About your opportunity

This role provides the opportunity to deliver high‑quality, client‑focused electronic medication management (eMM) support within the integrated electronic Medical Record (ieMR) environment. You will contribute to safe and effective medication practices by providing expert guidance, training, and education to the wards and units supported by the Pharmacy Department.

Working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team, you will support evidence‑based practice, promote quality improvement, and contribute to research and service development activities. The position plays an important role in advancing digital medication safety and supporting the department's commitment to delivering efficient, effective, and patient‑centred care across the Townsville Hospital and Health Service

Requirements

  • Possession of a Bachelor of Pharmacy degree from a recognised tertiary institution (or equivalent).
  • Current registration with the Pharmacy Board of Australia (AHPRA).

Desirable qualifications

  • A health‑related postgraduate clinical pharmacy qualification and/or enrolment in the SHPA Residency Program is desirable.
  • Certification as a Health Informatician (Certified Health Informatician Australasia – CHIA) would be well regarded.
