As Head of Special Education Services, your responsibilities include:
- Lead and coordinate the Special Education Program across the school
- Provide expert advice and coaching to teachers to support inclusive practice and adjustments
- Lead planning and case management for students with complex learning needs
- Support and build the capability of staff, including teachers and teacher aides
- Collaborate with school leadership to enhance whole-school inclusive practices
- Build strong partnerships with families and external agencies
- Use student data and evidence to monitor and improve support strategies

Skills and Experience:
Essential:
- Current registration with the Queensland College of Teachers (QCT)
- Experience supporting students with disability and diverse learning needs
- Strong knowledge of inclusive education and reasonable adjustments
- Proven ability to lead, collaborate, and communicate effectively
Desirable:
- Previous experience in a HOSES or similar leadership role
- Qualifications or training in special education or inclusive practice
