As a Learning and Development Specialist, you will play a vital role in supporting the National Fire Ant Eradication Program, Australia's largest biosecurity initiative. Your contributions will directly enable the frontline workforce to tackle the challenges of eradicating fire ants, ensuring a compliant and equipped team.
Design and deliver engaging training programs, including workshops, webinars, and inductions, tailored to the needs of the workforce.
Collaborate with stakeholders to identify training needs and develop innovative solutions that enhance business outcomes.
Monitor and evaluate training effectiveness to ensure alignment with program goals and continuous improvement.
What we are looking for (qualifications, registrations, experience)
To be successful in this role, you will need:
A current unrestricted ‘C' class driver's licence and willingness to travel to depots to deliver training.
Highly developed organisational skills and the ability to prioritise tasks effectively under tight deadlines.
A Certificate IV in Training and Assessment or relevant experience in a similar role (highly desirable).
You will also bring strong oral and written communication skills, a high degree of technological literacy, and a positive attitude to contribute to a close-knit and purpose-driven team.
