About the role
This role participates in the provision, development and maintenance of an effective, efficient and equitable ambulatory service to hospital inpatients via telehealth.
About you
Our ideal candidate will be someone who can carry out the following key accountabilities in accordance with the Metro North Health's values:
- Document relevant clinical information accurately, concisely and legibly in patient's charts.
- Assess patient suitability for admission to the Virtual Ward at the point of referral, in liaison with senior staff and the multidisciplinary team.
- Conduct interviews, examinations and the identification of clinical problems through telehealth (phone and videoconference)
- Arrange investigations, medical treatment and discharge as discussed with the Consultant to which assigned.
