Competitive salary and benefits:

- Salary range: $113,979 to $122,048 p.a. (Nurse Grade 6 Band 1)
- 4 to 6 weeks annual leave with 14%-17.5% loading
- 12.75% employer contribution to superannuation
- Plus Salary Sacrificing options may be available
- Flexible working arrangements are available in this role
- 4 weeks accommodation available for the successful candidate
About your opportunity
The role of the Clinical Nurse within Charters Towers Rehabilitation Unit is to assist in the coordination of care within a collaborative multidisciplinary recovery framework; provide mental health nursing practice consistent with the philosophy, goals and objectives of the mental health service, to ensure the provision of best practice and quality patient care.
Requirements:
Mandatory qualifications and proof of registration
- Qualification: Bachelor of Nursing or equivalent certification relevant to the position is mandatory.
- Nursing: Appointment to this position requires proof of qualification and registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) and possession of a current practising certificate.
- Highly Desirable: Possession of or working towards a relevant post-registration and/or tertiary qualifications in mental health nursing.
- Highly Desirable: Eligibility for appointment as an Authorised Mental Health Practitioner (AMHP) under the Mental Health Act 2016.
