About the role
As a Casual Security Officer at Caboolture Hospital, you will play a critical role in maintaining a safe, secure and orderly healthcare environment. You will be a visible and proactive presence across hospital facilities, responding to security risks, emergencies and incidents as they arise while supporting clinical teams in the delivery of patient care.
About you
Our ideal candidate will be someone who can carry out the following key accountabilities in accordance with the Metro North Health's values:
- Provide comprehensive security services and assistance to patients, visitors, staff and contractors whilst at the same time protecting the physical assets of the MNHHS.
- Provide a first response presence to all emergency situations including helipad operations.
- Provide close personal protection to staff confronting aggressive and volatile situations in the provision of front line health services.
- Prioritise tasks and respond to requests for security and/or emergency assistance in accordance with Queensland Health, Health Service, Facility and Unit guidelines, policies, procedures and protocols.
- Prevention, intervention, investigation and recording of crime within the Health Service as defined by statute law, including but not limited to theft, wilful damage, assault, trespass and public nuisance offences.
