You will manage a diverse caseload, including complex litigation, and represent QPT before Courts and Tribunals. The role involves direct engagement with customers, external legal practitioners and stakeholders, and offers the opportunity to contribute to a collaborative team operating to high professional and public sector standards.

About you
You are a technically capable and client‑focused lawyer who produces high‑quality work and enjoys managing complex legal matters in a collaborative environment.
You'll succeed in this role if you bring:
- Demonstrated experience in challenging and complex litigation, including probate, succession and disability or financial administration matters.
- Experience working in a legal practice managing a higher volume of matters with direct client contact.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including high‑quality legal drafting.
- Sound professional judgement, integrity and a commitment to ethical practice.
- Meticulous attention to detail and a practical, solutions‑focused approach.
- The ability to build effective relationships with customers, colleagues and external stakeholders.
Mandatory requirements
- A degree in Law (or equivalent).
- Admission, or eligibility for immediate admission, as a legal practitioner in Queensland.
- Eligibility to hold a current practising certificate and to be entered on the High Court Register of Practitioners.
