Strathpine State School invites applications for an enthusiastic and highly motivated Principal to join their leadership team. As Principal you will play a vital role in delivering the vision of the department, improving the educational outcome of all students and nurturing positive relationships between students, teachers and stakeholders. This is a temporary full-time position until 11 December 2026, unless otherwise determined.

About the Role:

Responsibilities include, but not limited to:

  • Lead the school community in developing and committing to a shared, future-focused educational vision that delivers quality learning outcomes for all students.
  • Uphold ethical, values-based leadership while embedding socially just practices in everyday school life.
  • Set and maintain high standards for both student achievement and staff performance.
  • Engage in lifelong learning and professional development, while building strong partnerships with parents, community, industry, and government.
  • Apply strategic thinking, understand relevant legislation and policies, and manage resources effectively to achieve school goals.
