Competitive salary and benefits:
We offer attractive remuneration packages and generous leave entitlements.
- Salary range: $73.12 to $76.30 p.h. (HP5)
- 4 to 6 weeks annual leave with 14%-17.5% loading
- 12.75% employer contribution to superannuation
- Plus Salary Sacrificing options may be available
About your opportunity
Deliver specialised research skills, support services, and education for Townsville Hospital and Health Service (THHS) staff (and collaborators where appropriate), to assist in the development and undertaking of research proposals and grants; gaining research ethics and governance clearance; assistance with analysis and write up, to maximise the research potential and outputs of THHS.
Requirements:
Mandatory qualifications and proof of registration
- The successful applicant must hold a tertiary qualification in an eligible Health Practitioner profession and a relevant postgraduate research qualification (i.e. MPhil or PhD).
- Appointment to this position requires proof of qualification and registration or membership (if applicable) with the appropriate registration authority or association.
- Highly desirable: Health or clinical based research and/or project management experience will be well regarded.
- Highly desirable: In addition, it is desirable that the successful applicant has a significant publishing history and/or demonstrated success in obtaining competitive research grants.
