Role details
The team at Clermont Multi-Purpose Health Service is seeking applications for a Senior Medical Officer - General Practitioner/Rural Generalist to join their team on a Permanent Full-Time (80 hrs p.f.) or Permanent Part-Time basis.

The Clermont MPHS provides a broad scope of rural generalist practice, including emergency care, inpatient management, aged care and community-based services. The smaller team environment supports strong clinical autonomy, diverse practice, and opportunities for leadership and service development.
Flexible working arrangements are available, including extended commute options from nearby regional centres such as Emerald and Moranbah. Both towns are well-connected service hubs with commercial flights, making them practical for FIFO option for clinicians seeking rostered rural work while maintaining links to larger communities. DIDO options are also available from coastal centres such as Mackay, Airlie Beach and the Capricorn area.
Clermont Connection and Clermont 4 Doctors are an active community organisation who provide support to doctors and their families to integrate into the community.
Outside of work, Clermont offers an affordable lifestyle, minimal commute, and access to a range of outdoor and community attractions. The nearby Theresa Creek Dam is a popular destination for water sports, camping, and picnicking, while the region's rich gold and gemstone mining history can be explored through local heritage trails and fossicking areas.
