The purpose of this position is to work as part of the team responsible for data and analytics relating to investment and commissioning activities across the department. You will work with existing programs and strategies and support design, development, and implementation of new solutions to managing and tracking service delivery and expenditure to ensure the department achieves desired outcomes in the provision of child protection services.

Your responsibilities
The Senior Analyst key responsibilities are:
• Provide subject matter expertise and assist in the specification, testing and implementation of reporting solutions, including reporting datasets and information system enhancements.
• Work with a team developing PowerBI dashboards and batch reporting solutions to support investment and commissioning intelligence gathering.
• Support the effective utilisation of information, data and systems by investigating performance reporting and data quality issues and causes and implementing solutions, as part of the data quality and reporting program of work.
• Undertake detailed investigation and analysis and provide advice to management in relation to performance reporting, measure design and data quality issues, including assistance with the preparation of submissions, reports, briefs and other documentation on data quality, data collection and performance information related issues.
• Prepare a range of written materials to a high standard including dataset and information system requirements, user acceptance testing results, memorandums, project and work plans, correspondence, discussion papers, documentation and reports.
