Your new role:

As an Enrolled Nurse within our Permanent Nurse Pool, you'll play a vital role in delivering safe, compassionate, and evidence-based care across a variety of clinical settings. Working under the guidance of a Registered Nurse, you'll contribute to positive patient outcomes while building your clinical capability in a supportive and flexible environment.

In this role, you will:

  • Provide person-centred care under RN supervision
  • Deliver safe, evidence-based nursing interventions
  • Adapt quickly across diverse clinical environments
  • Communicate effectively with patients, carers, and teams
  • Support quality, safety, and infection control standards

About you:

You are a compassionate and adaptable Enrolled Nurse who thrives in a fast-paced environment. You bring a collaborative mindset, strong clinical skills, and a commitment to delivering high-quality patient care.

You will have:

  • Current registration as an Enrolled Nurse (NMBA)
  • IV medication endorsement (essential)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Commitment to evidence-based practice and continuous learning
  • Flexibility to work across different clinical areas and shifts

About us:

The Permanent Nurse Pool (PNP) at the Princess Alexandra Hospital (PAH) is one of the largest and most dynamic units within the hospital. The PNP consists of dedicated and multi-skilled AINs, ENs and RNs.

The PNP supports clinical and non-clinical areas across the hospital and associated health services covering emergent leave, workload increases and additional supplementary staffing needs.

Working on the PNP provides a unique opportunity for staff to develop skills that are not bound to one specialty but are transferable across all areas, developing staff both personally and professionally.
