Role details
The Digital and Information Services at the Mackay Base Hospital is seeking applications for a Team Leader System Integration to join their team on a permanent basis.

Your opportunity
The Team Leader System Integration, within Informatics and Insights Unit, is a transformative portfolio of digital initiatives designed to improve the health and wellbeing of consumers within the MHHS utilising analytics. The portfolio includes a range of internal initiatives, as well as, identifying opportunities to partner and collaborate with eHealth QLD, Vendors and other Hospital and Health Services on analytics projects, process and capacity building.
As the Team Leader, you'll manage complex business change initiatives that involves multiple streams of work across the organisation. You will be responsible to ensure clinical analytics maintains momentum and achievement of objectives outlined in business intelligence requests. You will lead a high functioning multi-disciplinary team of IT, business and technical resources across the organisation.
This position works within a collaborative team and contributes to the continuing innovation of digital health care solutions. The role will contribute to effective project governance and provide expert advice to the Executive Leadership Team and the Chief Information Officer to ensure effective implementation, engagement and change management in order to secure successful deployment of analytics solutions.
This role will be responsible for the successful implementation of several clinical digital innovations as supported by the Digital Services Governance Committee.
About the Team
The Clinical Analytics Team / System Integration component of Informatics and Insights Unit will deliver a comprehensive range of business intelligence functions to support clinical care delivery, evaluation, decision support, operational accountability and improvement.
This position will lead a team who have a key role as a clinical informaticians, translating clinician driven requirements into a range of delivery tools (eg Power BI) with accompanying analysis and narrative to support the delivery of services. The team leader will provide expert advice on implementing information harvesting solutions and the required artificial intelligence and code to deliver clearly actionable outcomes.
