About the Role:
Responsibilities include, but not limited to;
- Provide counselling and targeted support services to Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander students across multiple schools to enhance their educational engagement and wellbeing.
- Develop and implement programs and activities, both within and outside school, that encourage participation in education among students and their families.
- Build and maintain strong partnerships between schools, families, and external organisations to support student development and access to services.
- Offer cultural guidance and share knowledge of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander perspectives, ensuring cultural awareness and understanding within the school community.
- Advise school staff and leaders on cultural protocols and effectively manage funded programs to support student outcomes and community engagement.
