Provide expert clinical leadership in haematology, delivering high-quality, patient-centred pathology services that align with statewide service standards. In this role, you will ensure pathology services are timely, accurate, and fit for purpose, meeting the clinical needs of referring clinicians across hospitals, community health centres, and other healthcare settings.

Key competencies (role specific criteria)

You will be assessed on your ability to demonstrate the following:

  • Demonstrated contemporary knowledge, skills and ability in diagnostic pathology, and high level of professionalism required in the position, especially objectivity.
  • Demonstrated high level interpersonal and communication skills necessary for all aspects of the position.
  • Demonstrated skills, knowledge and abilities necessary to conduct relevant training, teaching, research, investigation, analysis and management.
  • Knowledge of the ISO 15189 NATA Medical Testing Requirements demonstrating continued accreditation in your clinical specialty for all laboratories across a diverse network.
