The Role
An opportunity has become available for a Senior Technical Project Manager to join Gold Coast Health (GCH) where the focus of our 13 000-strong team is on providing world-class health care to people living in the Gold Coast, and northern New South Wales region of Australia.
You will
- Implement capability development initiatives to identify and deliver new cyber security tools and technologies
- Provide oversight for GCHHS' cyber security project portfolio, ensuring alignment with strategic goals
- Engage with stakeholders to gather requirements, provide updates, and secure support for project initiatives
- Allocate resources effectively across multiple projects to optimise outcomes and ensure timely delivery
About you
To be successful in this position you will require:
- Tertiary degree in Project Management and/or recognised industry certifications e.g. Project Management Professional (PMP), PRINCE 2
- Minimum two years' experience working in Project Management in large, complex organisations
- This position may be required to work throughout the GCHHS
- This position may be required to supervise more junior members of the team
- Declaration of serious discipline history must be disclosed
- Criminal History Screening will be required for new employees (GCH will cover cost)

- Permanent full time
- Base salary ranging from $140 115 - $150 371 per annum

The Digital Health and Innovation (DHI) Division has been established to drive significant service improvements and digital transformation initiatives, aligned with the strategic objectives outlined in the Gold Coast Hospital and Health Service Strategic Plan 2024 – 2028 (G28).
The DHI portfolio consists of a range of interconnected business units and teams, including Research, Digital Experience, Digital Delivery, Technology Operations, Health Information, and Digital Security and Architecture.
DHI is responsible for enhancing efficiency and service delivery optimising Health Service performance. Additionally, it oversees strategic partnerships that support the implementation of alternative models of service delivery, ensuring value for money, while driving improvements in performance and innovation across the organisation.
