The Role

An opportunity has become available for a Senior Technical Business Analyst to join Gold Coast Health (GCH) where the focus of our 13 000-strong team is on providing world-class health care to people living in the Gold Coast, and northern New South Wales region of Australia.

You will

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to analyse complex business challenges and identify technological enabled solutions
  • Gather and analyse requirements for digital and cyber security projects and initiatives
  • Monitor project execution by tracking progress and alignment with broader technology strategies and objectives
  • Facilitate stakeholder engagement through workshops, meetings, and regular project updates

About you

To be successful in this position you will require:

While not mandatory, the following would be highly regarded:

  • Recognised industry certifications such as Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP), Professional in Business Analysis (PMI-PBA), or PRINCE2 Foundation.
  • Strong understanding of project management methodologies (e.g. Agile, PRINCE2).
  • Experience in requirements gathering, data analysis, process mapping, stakeholder engagement, vendor evaluation, and solution integration.
  • Understanding of API integrations, cloud platforms (e.g. AWS, Azure), enterprise systems, Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies (e.g. Scrum, SAFe).
  • Declaration of serious discipline history must be disclosed
  • Criminal History Screening will be required for new employees (GCH will cover cost)

  • Permanent full time
  • Base salary ranging from $125 002 - $133 898 per annum

The DHI portfolio consists of interconnected functional business units and teams including Digital Experience, Digital Delivery, Technology Operations, Health Information, and Digital Security and Architecture.

DHI is responsible for enhancing efficiency and service delivery improvements to optimise Health Service performance. It also oversees strategic partnerships that help the Health Service implement alternative models of service delivery, ensuring value for money, and driving improvements in performance and innovation.
