About the role
This is a key leadership role supporting the Medical Director and senior management while coordinating and leading a large, high‑performing administrative workforce in a busy clinical environment
About you
Our ideal candidate will be someone who can carry out the following key accountabilities in accordance with the Metro North Health's values:
- Co-ordinate, lead and manage the Thoracic administrative teams which includes medical typing, outpatient administration officers and chart preparation team whilst meeting targets and KPI's according to the SOSIS Guidelines.
- Liaise with HR Business Partners to support and lead activities relating to day-to-day management of staff including establishment, conflict resolution, commencement, and internal movements.
- Participate in the development, implementation, review and maintenance of operational and administrative processes and work practices.
