About Us:

Mount Warren Park State School opened in 1981 and has evolved from its rural plantation origins into a well-established, community-focused primary school. Its continued development reflects a strong historical foundation and community connection Ongoing investment in facilities and inclusive education. Co-location with a new special school (planned to open in 2028) provides a strong platform for connection, collaboration and inclusive practice across the broader school community. The proximity of the two schools will support professional partnerships, shared learning and a cohesive local approach to meeting the diverse needs of children and families in and around Logan.

About the Role:

Responsibilities include, but not limited to:

  • Lead the school community in creating and committing to a shared vision focused on high-quality learning outcomes for all students.
  • Demonstrate ethical, values-based leadership while embedding socially just practices in everyday school life.
  • Maintain high expectations for both student achievement and staff performance.
  • Engage in ongoing professional learning and promote a culture of continuous development.
  • Build strong partnerships and operate strategically, with a clear understanding of relevant legislation and policies.
