About the role
As the Senior Consultant, Injury Management, you will be responsible for developing and leading tailored strategies to improve safe and sustainable return to work outcomes and reduce workplace injury, claims costs and durations.
In this role, you will also provide expert advice and support to workers, senior management and team leaders, as well as monitor trends and influence external stakeholders to minimise the impact of injury/illness and assist the prompt, safe and sustainable return to work.
About you
Our ideal candidate will be someone who can demonstrate the following:
- Demonstrated capability and experience in the development, implementation, review and evaluation of organisational workplace health and safety strategies that minimise loss of productivity and reduce worker's compensation costs including potential common law claims.
- Proven ability to provide high-level advice and evidence-based recommendations to a range of stakeholders about employee health, complex injury/case management and statutory/common law workers' compensation matters, including potential common law claims.
- Demonstrated high level interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills, with the proven ability to effectively engage, collaborate, influence and innovate with a broad range of stakeholders.
- Demonstrated capability in preparing well researched briefings, submissions and other written correspondence in relation to health and injury management matters for insurers, medical practitioners, allied health professional and senior executives.

- Vaccinated against, and remain vaccinated against, certain vaccine preventable diseases (VPD) as outlined in the Health Employment Directive NO. 01/16
