About the role
This role provides support to the Principal Advisor Injury Management in providing leadership in health, rehabilitation, injury management and return to work services across West Moreton Health (WMH) including WorkCover and QSuper claims management.
About you
Our ideal candidate will be someone who can demonstrate the following:
- Demonstrated experience in the delivery of health and injury management services, including developing and reviewing policies, systems, processes, and effective management and monitoring of workers' compensation and workplace rehabilitation programs and services within a large diverse organisation.
- Demonstrated experience in interpreting and applying legislation, standards and policies relevant to health and injury management into practical and pragmatic programs and services to achieve business and client focused solutions.
- Proven capacity to assist in the implementation of health and injury management initiatives including coaching and developing capability of staff, managers and supervisors by fostering a performance based and client focused work culture.
- Demonstrated organisational skills and experience working in a high volume and demanding professional environment with a capacity to prioritise competing demands and achieve results within a client focused approach.
Mandatory Requirements:
- Vaccinated against, and remain vaccinated against, certain vaccine preventable diseases (VPD) as outlined in the Health Employment Directive NO. 01/16
