Your new role:
- Step into a pivotal clinical leadership role where you'll drive high-quality mental health care and coordination within a fast-paced Emergency Department environment.
- Lead rapid mental health assessments, crisis intervention, and care planning in line with the Mental Health Act 2016
- Coordinate patient flow across ED, community, and inpatient services to improve outcomes and reduce length of stay
- Provide expert clinical leadership, supporting multidisciplinary teams with risk management, decision-making, and best practice care
- Strengthen collaboration with families, stakeholders, and services while promoting safe, person-centred and recovery-oriented care
About you:
- You are an experienced and confident mental health nurse who thrives in complex environments and is passionate about improving care outcomes.
- Registered Nurse with current AHPRA registration and advanced experience in mental health and/or addiction nursing
- Demonstrated expertise in clinical assessment, crisis intervention, care coordination, and risk management
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work autonomously and influence team practice
- Commitment to evidence-based care, continuous improvement, and collaboration across multidisciplinary teams
