As a senior member of our Clinical Governance, Quality and Safety Division, you will work at the elbow of our clinicians, acting as a trusted business partner to translate complex data into meaningful bedside improvements. About the role:
- Lead multidisciplinary reviews of National Safety and Quality Health Service Standards (NSQHSS) to identify and mitigate system-level risks.
- Deliver high-level clinical advice and education to influence a common, patient-centred culture across clinical and non-clinical teams.
- Monitor and report on quality and safety data, clinical audits, and patient outcomes to drive evidence-based service improvements.
- Partner with consumer stakeholders to enhance multidisciplinary engagement and strengthen patient safety initiatives.
About you:
- You are Indigenous to the Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander Community.
- You hold a tertiary qualification in Allied Health, Nursing, or a relevant professional field with appropriate AHPRA registration or professional membership eligibility.
- You demonstrate advanced clinical and problem-solving skills with the ability to plan and coordinate comprehensive, person-centred care.
- You have a deep understanding of clinical governance processes and the ability to apply quality frameworks to deliver clinical improvement.
- You are a high-level communicator who can explain complex risks to senior leaders and engage effectively with multidisciplinary healthcare teams.
Under Section 25 of the Anti-Discrimination Act 1991 (Qld), it is a genuine occupational requirement for the incumbent to be Indigenous to the Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander community.
What we offer:
Total remuneration, varying by stream, is as follows (includes 12.75% super and 17.5% leave loading):
- Admin: Up to $152,772 p.a. with an hourly rate between $63.04 - $67.53 p.h.
- Health Practitioner: Up to $157,359 p.a. with an hourly rate between $64.64 - $69.55 p.h.
- Nurse: Up to $139,252 p.a. with an hourly rate between $57.48 - $61.55 p.h.
