Pathways Officer

Are you passionate about tackling homelessness and creating opportunities for positive change? As a Pathways Officer with Housing Outreach Mobile Engagement, you’ll help coordinate immediate, multi-agency assistance for individuals and families in need.
Based in either Logan or the Gold Coast, you’ll use your skills to develop housing solutions, strengthen partnerships with stakeholders, and deliver responsive services to those experiencing or at risk of homelessness. Your work will directly improve lives, helping people find stability and security.

Do you want to make a real and lasting difference in people's lives? As a Pathways Officer within Housing Outreach Mobile Engagement (H.O.M.E), you'll play a vital role in addressing homelessness and housing challenges in the South/West Region. This position offers flexibility in office location, you can choose to be based in either Logan or the Gold Coast. This is an opportunity to deliver coordinated, timely, and meaningful support for individuals and families experiencing or at risk of homelessness.
In this role, you'll assess and respond to customer needs, providing immediate housing assistance, long-term housing solutions, and connections to essential services. By understanding the unique challenges our customers face, you'll ensure they can access the right support to achieve safety, stability, and independence.
You'll work closely with a network of government and non-government service providers, councils, and community housing organisations to strengthen local partnerships and improve service delivery. Through collaboration and innovation, you'll contribute to building pathways to secure housing and deliver outcomes that align with the department's commitment to improving lives and fostering sustainable communities.

Please note that you must hold a Class C driver's licence for this role, and some travel, including overnight trips, will be required.
