We’re looking for a reliable and motivated cleaner to join our team and help create a safe, clean, and welcoming environment. In this role, you’ll play an important part in keeping the site well-presented by delivering high-quality cleaning services.

This position is being offered in a Permanent Part-time (0.86FTE) capacity.

About Crescent Lagoon State School

Crescent Lagoon State School caters for approximately 450 students from Preparatory to Year 6. The school is set on approximately one hectare, bounded by Eton street, North Street Extended and Willis Streets and services the western suburbs of Rockhampton and nearby outer areas.

About the Role

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Clean and sanitise internal and external surfaces, fixtures, and facilities
  • Maintain equipment and perform general cleaning (dusting, sweeping, vacuuming, hosing)
  • Manage waste, litter, and drainage areas
  • Control cobwebs, mildew, and remove graffiti
  • Maintain floors, including buffing, stripping, and polishing
