About the role

This role is responsible for managing and leading end-to-end ICT procurement across Metro North Health Service, ensuring cost-effective and risk-managed outcomes. Working closely with technical, clinical, and corporate stakeholders, the role ensures procurement and contracts align with strategic objectives. It oversees daily procurement operations, develops ICT market approaches for new technology initiatives, and focuses on improving efficiency, reducing costs, and embedding best-practice strategies in sourcing, expenditure analysis, and contract management.

About you

Our ideal candidate will be someone who can carry out the following key accountabilities in accordance with the Metro North Health's values:

  • Provide high‑level advice and support on procurement strategies, contractual administration, and procurement procedures in accordance with relevant policies and frameworks.
  • Lead and manage a small team to deliver timely, cost‑effective, and customer‑focused end‑to‑end ICT procurement services aligned to clinical and business requirements
  • Ensure procurement activities are conducted to a high standard of probity, accountability, and transparency, safeguarding MNHHS's reputation.
