Warrigal Road State School is seeking a dedicated and reliable Schools Officer who works well as part of a team and autonomously. We are a thriving multicultural institution with a rich tradition of academic excellence. A part of the facilities team, the School's Officer is responsible for ensuring that our school grounds and facilities are well maintained, aesthetically pleasing and conducive to the overall well-being of our staff and students. This is a temporary full-time position until 9 April 2027, unless otherwise determined

About the School:

About the Role:

Responsibilities include, but not limited to:

  • Maintain and present school facilities and grounds to a high standard
  • Perform. general maintenance, repairs, indoor and outdoor upkeep
  • Ensure a safe and clean environment for staff, students, and visitors
  • Work collaboratively with staff to support school activities and events
  • Ensure compliance with workplace health and safety requirements including maintenance of a safe work environment.
  • Support school operations through practical, hands-on work

Progressional roles show a salary range spanning two classifications. Appointment will be made at the level appropriate to skill and fulfilment of required criteria.
