The Role
The Manager, Digital Delivery reports to the Chief Digital Officer and leads the digital strategic roadmap by developing, implementing and evaluating initiatives and services that support growth and capability across DLGWV. The Digital Capability Office is helping the department become a future-focused, adaptable enterprise that makes the most of digital technologies, cloud platforms and services. This work supports an integrated and reliable foundation for modern, data-informed government services.
Key Accountabilities:
- Lead delivery of the digital strategy and roadmap, including benefits, risks and issues.
- Manage complex ICT-enabled initiatives through planning and delivery, covering scope, schedules, budget, governance and stakeholder engagement.
- Build strong relationships with business owners, project boards, government agencies, vendors and other stakeholders to support digital service delivery.
- Guide the Digital Capability Office to deliver quality digital capabilities on time and within budget.
- Identify digital trends, analyse business opportunities and recommend practical solutions.
- Prepare clear advice, project documentation, communications and presentations.
- Foster an inclusive, learning-focused culture, including mentoring staff and supporting better outcomes for First Nations peoples.
About You:
You are a strategic and collaborative leader who connects digital delivery with business outcomes. You bring strong project or program delivery experience, sound judgement and the ability to work confidently with technical and non-technical stakeholders. You can lead change, manage complex work programs and communicate with clarity and influence. There are no mandatory qualifications for this role. Highly regarded experience includes Prince2® project management training or equivalent project experience, Agile methodologies, and infrastructure management with working knowledge of ITIL frameworks.
