The Role
An opportunity has become available for an Occupational Therapist – Senior (Continuing Care Team)
to join Gold Coast Health (GCH) where the focus of our 13 000-strong team is on providing world-class health care to people living in the Gold Coast, and northern New South Wales region of Australia.
You will
- Deliver high level clinical services in accordance with professional code of ethics, relevant legislation including the Queensland Mental Health Act 2016 and National Practice Standards for the Mental Health Workforce
- Develop and implement quality and service improvement activities in line with evidence-based practice in the continuing care team
- Contribute to the development of clinical practice procedures and protocols, for both the discipline and the multidisciplinary team, that support the continuum of care for consumers and families
- Provide clinical supervision and continuously develop and support staff and students within your profession and/or specialty area or as delegated
About you
To be successful in this position you will require:
- A tertiary degree in Occupational Therapy
- AHPRA Registration
- Driver Licence
- Evidence of vaccination, or be able to be vaccinated against and remain vaccinated against - Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella, Pertussis and Hepatitis B
- Tuberculosis screening, to identify if the tuberculosis vaccination may be required
- Declaration of serious discipline history must be disclosed
- Criminal History Screening will be required for new employees (GCH will cover cost)

Salary
- Temporary part time (up to 12 months, 60.8 hours per fortnight)
- Base salary ranging from $64.64 - $69.55 per hour
