The Executive Assistant provides high quality, confidential administrative support to the Senior Executives in the Office of the Regional Executive Director.

The Executive Assistant is part of an Administration Team that is responsible for maintaining effective office and information systems for the regional office in order to meet internal and external reporting requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide high quality confidential administrative support to a Regional Director or the Regional
  • Executive Director, and provide support to other members of the region.
  • Maintain the Regional Director or Regional Executive Director's diary, including the
  • organisation of meetings, minute taking, appointments, petty cash, taxi vouchers,
  • accommodation and travel arrangements.
  • Intercept and screen telephone calls, with the redirection of enquiries to appropriate areas as necessasry
  • Liaise with senior officers and staff such as: Managers, Directors, Regional Directors, Regional
  • Executive Directors, Director-General and Minister.
  • Track, analyse, interpret and allocate (under guidance of the Advisor, Regional Director and/or
  • Regional Executive Director) all incoming correspondence.
  • Liaise with departmental officers and other government and non-government organisations
  • as necessary.
  • Undertake financial, human resource and administrative duties as required.
  • Develop and maintain effective administrative systems, recordkeeping and business reporting.
