Metro South Health is seeking a motivated Administration Officer to join the Endoscopy Unit at Beaudesert Hospital. This temporary part-time AO3 role (53.2 hours per fortnight, July 2026 to May 2027, with possible extension) provides essential administrative and organisational support across Outpatients and Theatre services, ensuring efficient patient flow and high-quality service delivery in a busy clinical environment.

Your new role:
In this role, you will provide high-quality administrative support to ensure the smooth operation of Endoscopy services. Key responsibilities:
- Managing patient bookings, waitlists, cancellations and admissions for procedures in line with Queensland Health guidelines
- Supporting Theatre and Outpatient workflows, including patient interviews, documentation, and preparation of medical records
About you:
You are a proactive and organised administration professional with a strong focus on accuracy, teamwork, and customer service. The ideal candidate will demonstrate:
- Proven administrative experience with strong attention to detail and ability to manage competing priorities
- Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to adapt in a fast-paced clinical environment

Beaudesert Hospital:
Beaudesert Hospital is a rural hospital in Queensland's Scenic Rim region with a rich history of healthcare that spans more than 120 years. We provide rural healthcare across a large geographic area south-west of Logan and the Gold Coast with patients who see us coming from Undullah in the north-west right down to the southern Queensland border. We offer services to adults and children, including 24-hour emergency care, maternity, mental, dental, allied health and outpatient clinics, minor surgery and palliative care.
We're a smaller hospital that offer hands-on training and support to our staff and students. As a secondary teaching hospital, we also have strong partnerships with Queensland's leading medical schools, universities, and TAFE Queensland.
