About the team
TMR's Digital Enablement Unit (DEU) within Information Technology Branch (ITB) drive TMR's digital agenda by facilitating the strategic adoption of emerging technologies (including AI) and modern ways of working.
We focus on the people side of change—communication, enablement, support, learning and capability uplift—so staff can adopt new technology with confidence and we deliver on TMR's vision for a connected, inclusive transport network for all Queenslanders.

About the role (maternity leave backfill)
In this temporary role, you'll help people across TMR adopt new digital tools and ways of working, with a focus on building confident and safe use of AI. You'll use clear communication, engagement activities, training and coaching to support leaders and teams from first awareness through to everyday use.

Key responsibilities include:
• Planning and delivering change and adoption activities that help people use new digital tools and ways of working, with a focus on safe and ethical AI adoption.
• Supporting and advising leaders, teams and individuals on modern ways of working and digital change.
• Leading champion networks and communities of practice to encourage learning, sharing and peer to peer support.
• Keeping up to date with digital trends and practices and apply them in practical ways across TMR.
• Building and maintaining strong relationships with stakeholders, including other government agencies and suppliers.

What you'll bring
• Proven experience delivering organisational change and adoption for digital/technology initiatives, including AI adoption.
• Strong facilitation and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to influence across diverse groups.
• Experience designing information, learning and communication products that drive behaviour change.
• Comfort working in ambiguous environments and iterating based on feedback and data.
• Knowledge of, or strong interest in, AI and how to uplift capability responsibly (e.g., safe use, privacy, security and human-in-the-loop practices).

Why join us
Join a team that builds practical playbooks, learning, and communities that help TMR adopt new tools safely and confidently. If you like variety, influence and visible outcomes, you'll enjoy this role.

How to apply
Please provide your resume and one-page cover letter outlining how your experience aligns with the role, including an example of leading change and (if applicable) contributing to AI and/or digital capability uplift.
