The Role

An opportunity has become available for a Manager (Integrated Workforce Management - Transactional and Support Services) to join Gold Coast Health (GCH) where the focus of our 13 000-strong team is on providing world-class health care to people living in the Gold Coast, and northern New South Wales region of Australia.

You will

  • Lead and manage the delivery of Transactional and Support Services within the Integrated Workforce Management rostering environment
  • Validate and certify fortnightly pay runs for all the organisation's employees
  • Interpret complex industrial instruments and enterprise agreements to advise on roster compliance, payroll accuracy, and escalation pathways
  • Manage the operational workload and performance of the Roster Support Office and End to End Rostering teams

About you

To be successful in this position you will require:

  • While not mandatory, a relevant qualification would be well regarded
  • Declaration of serious discipline history must be disclosed
  • Criminal History Screening will be required for new employees (GCH will cover cost)

Salary

  • Permanent full time
  • Base salary ranging from $125 002 - $133 898 per annum

Workforce Policy and Performance (WPaP) provides a seamless service to support the business with workforce policy, performance reporting, establishment management, attraction and recruitment (including job evaluations, visa) and best practice rostering. We achieve this by developing resources that empower our clients to make informed workforce decisions, while supporting the objectives of the GCH Strategic Plan.

WPaP aims to increase the knowledge, accountability and governance practices surrounding workforce management. Workforce Policy and Performance key focus has been working on initiatives through technology, developing policy, applying governance and providing data to clients on our workforce.
