What you'll do
As the Manager of the Office of the Executive Director within the Health Contact Centre, you will provide high‑level strategic advice and operational support to the Executive Director, Health Contact Centre. You will play a lead role in planning, initiating, developing, evaluating and managing projects and programs of work that align with the Health Contact Centre's operational objectives and strategic priorities. As a key member of the Health Contact Centre Management Committee and Program Board, you will contribute to organisational governance and decision‑making, while providing expert advice and support to members of the Business Administration Team and the Clinical Excellence Queensland Deputy Director‑General Office.
About you
We are searching for someone who:
- Has experience providing high‑level, confidential and coordinated support to senior executives within complex public sector and healthcare environments, with a strong understanding of contemporary health service delivery challenges.
- Is able to provide expert knowledge of health system and Department of Health governance, with strong strategic, analytical and critical thinking skills to influence and deliver solutions to complex issues across health and social priority areas.
- Has excellent communication, stakeholder engagement and project management capabilities, including collaborating with diverse internal and external stakeholders and leading policy, program and project initiatives from development through to evaluation
