The Role:
The Operations Manager oversees the technical delivery of services provided by the Platform Development team. This includes managing staff responsible for application deployment, device configuration and provisioning, scripting and automation, and some application development. A background in technologies such as Intune, Active Directory, SCCM, Group Policy, PowerShell, and C# is desirable.
In addition to technical oversight, the role involves working with internal and external stakeholders to achieve outcomes in a professional and timely manner. Strong time management and a structured approach to tracking work are essential, particularly when aligning tasks with broader delivery goals, milestones, and reporting expectations. The role also requires the ability to produce clear and accurate documentation, including change records aligned with ITIL practices, as well as design and process documentation to support ongoing service improvement and knowledge sharing.
