The Role
An opportunity has become available for an Administration Officer Support (Digital Experience) to join Gold Coast Health (GCH) where the focus of our 13 000-strong team is on providing world-class health care to people living in the Gold Coast, and northern New South Wales region of Australia.
You will
- Perform confidential secretarial and administration duties ensuring professional and efficient services are provided
- Process and maintain confidential Human Resource files and communication
- Provide administrative in preparing agendas for meetings, maintaining accurate action directories and undertake secretarial minute taking
- Facilitate the coordination of workshops and meetings by the booking of appropriate conference rooms
About you
To be successful in this position you will require:
- While not mandatory, a relevant qualification would be well regarded
- Declaration of serious discipline history must be disclosed
- Criminal History Screening will be required for new employees (GCH will cover cost)

- Base salary ranging from $79 272 - $88 158 per annum
About Us
The Digital Health and Innovation (DHI) division has been established to drive significant service improvements and digital transformation opportunities, in alignment with the strategic objectives outlined in the Gold Coast Hospital and Health Services (GCHHS) Strategic Plan 2028.
The DHI portfolio consists of interconnected functional business units and teams, including Digital Project Delivery, Digital Experience, Technology Operations, Health Information and Digital Security and Architecture.
DHI is responsible for enhancing efficiency and service delivery improvements to optimise Health Service performance. It also oversees strategic partnerships that help the Health Service implement alternative models of service delivery, ensuring value for money, and driving improvements in performance, and innovation.
Digital Experience is part of the Digital and Information stream within the division. The service provides:
- Process mining and engineering
- User experience (UX) design
- Software development
- Web development
- Integration / interoperability
- Automation
- Testing
- Digital workflow and adoption support
