As the Manager (Marketing & Communication), you will plan and execute strategies that optimise the performance of multi-disciplinary creative services and marketing and communication teams to develop and deliver responsive and effective products and services.

Role accountabilities include the following:

  • Oversee and manage the development, implementation and evaluation of strategies to create and sustain a safe and healthy workplace culture and optimise resource investment and performance and deliver efficient and effective customer centric products and services.
  • Assist with the provision of specialist and strategic advice to executives, stakeholders and other departmental representatives on complex contemporary advertising, digital marketing, creative design and communication matters.
  • Oversee and coordinate the preparation of strategic and complex advertising, marketing and design materials, including but not limited to rebranding and design projects, advertising submissions, campaigns, video and other visual and digital products.
  • Build and maintain effective relationships and communication networks with content providers and internal and external stakeholders.
  • Scan the environment to identify and analyse major and sensitive issues and oversee the preparation and execution of the integrated strategies and initiatives in response to mitigate risk and ensure brand integrity.

Requirements of the role

  • Experience leading and managing communication, marketing or public relations teams to deliver persuasive content for a digital environment.
  • Experience developing, implementing and evaluating business development and team performance strategies, and positive workplace culture programs.
  • Highly developed business and political acumen and emotional intelligence.

Desirable qualifications

  • At least five years of experience working in communication, media, marketing, public relations, or other relevant environments, or;
  • A Bachelor's degree in communication, digital marketing, marketing, public relations or similar, higher qualifications.
