The purpose of this role is to provide executive leadership, strategic direction and authoritative advice on statewide policy, planning and service transformation initiatives within the Service Integration and Biomedical Technology Branch, ensuring alignment with government priorities and health system objectives.
What you'll do
In this role you will lead the development and implementation of statewide strategy and policy initiatives, provide authoritative advice to senior executives and government stakeholders, oversee governance and legislative frameworks, drive complex organisational transformation and change programs, represent Queensland Health at national and state forums, develop strategic partnerships across government and healthcare sectors, and lead multidisciplinary teams to deliver system-wide outcomes and reform priorities.
About you
We are searching for someone who:
- Has extensive senior executive leadership experience in complex organisations
- Has demonstrated expertise in strategic policy, reform and transformation
- Can influence and negotiate at executive and government levels
- Has experience leading large-scale organisational change initiatives
- Has exceptional stakeholder engagement and partnership management skills
- Can provide authoritative advice in high-pressure and politically sensitive environments
