What your day could look like
As Director of Nursing, you'll play a pivotal role in strengthening health outcomes for patients, staff and the wider Stanthorpe community. From shaping safe, high‑quality care to leading people through change, you'll work alongside committed teams and local partners to deliver care that truly reflects community needs.

- Leading and embedding clinical governance that drives safe, culturally responsive and high‑quality care
- Guiding multidisciplinary teams through operational priorities, growth and change with clarity and care
- Translating strategy into action by aligning workforce, resources and service delivery to community demand
- Building strong partnerships that enhance service access, innovation and local trust

Here's what will help you thrive in this role:
- Current registration as a Registered Nurse with appropriate professional authority
- Proven leadership experience in complex or multidisciplinary healthcare environments
- Strong capability in clinical governance, quality improvement and resource management
- A collaborative, resilient leadership style that supports teams through change
You'll stand out if you bring experience in rural or regional health services and/or postgraduate study in nursing, health management or a related field.
Most importantly, you'll be someone who leads with compassion, acts with courage, and creates lasting impact for patients, people and place.
