What your day could look like

As a Mental Health Clinician, you'll be a trusted partner in recovery, supporting individuals, families and communities across the Darling Downs. From delivering person-centred care to collaborating with a multidisciplinary team, your work will help improve access, outcomes and continuity of mental health support.

Every day, you'll contribute by:

  • Providing evidence-based assessment, intervention and care planning that supports recovery and wellbeing
  • Working alongside clinicians, families and community partners to deliver coordinated, compassionate care
  • Using your clinical judgement to respond to diverse needs across community and outreach settings
  • Contributing ideas and insights that strengthen service quality, safety and innovation

Here's what will help you thrive in this role:

  • Tertiary qualification and current registration in Occupational Therapy, Psychology, Social Work or Speech Pathology
  • Experience delivering contemporary mental health care and recovery‑focused practice
  • Strong communication skills and a collaborative, flexible approach
  • Commitment to continuous learning and safe, ethical practice

You'll stand out from the crowd if you have experience in community or rural settings and/or postgraduate training in mental health.
