About the role
Lead and drive innovation in Mental Health Alcohol and Other Drug (MHAOD) information systems across Metro North Mental Health (MNMH) through expert leadership, strategic direction, and collaboration with service-line Directors, the MNMH Executive Leadership Team, and key stakeholders. Utilise contemporary IT knowledge to manage and implement cutting-edge solutions that enhance workflows and meet the evolving needs of the health service.
About you
Our ideal candidate will be someone who can carry out the following key accountabilities in accordance with the Metro North Health's values:
- Provide a highly efficient, responsive ICT application support function for the Metro North Mental Health consistent with best practice and ITIL methodologies.
- Lead the IT development function to deliver technical solutions to time, budget and quality targets that contribute to organizational outcomes.
- Manage and develop the team including performance management and personnel development, and exercise HR delegation (Band 8) in relation to staff.
