About the role
Permanent Part-time opportunity to work in a dynamic and progressive environment at the forefront of healthcare, research, and education. The role ensures accurate coordination of appointments, client communication, and documentation, while maintaining confidentiality and data integrity.
About you
Our ideal candidate will be someone who can carry out the following key accountabilities in accordance with the Metro North Health's values:
- Responsible for the provision of high-quality administrative services including, but not limited to, appointment bookings/transfers/cancellations, answering telephones and handling client enquiries, processing mail/generic email account and return-to-sender correspondence, chart preparations and filing, faxing, typing, scanning, shredding, emailing, printing, photocopying, ordering office stationery/supplies and sending SMS messages.
- Responsible for the provision of timely, accurate, efficient creation of client correspondence including the ability to proofread, correct grammar and format letter and email replies.
- Responsible for the provision of high-quality reception services including but not limited to, greeting clients, managing enquiries, and managing bookings for client ‘walk-ins', directing clients and adhering to workplace processes by respecting information privacy and client confidentiality.
